MxPx

MxPx es una banda de Punk Rock, cuyos integrantes son cristianos, formada en 1992 en Bermenton, Washington en los Estados Unidos. Originalmente se llamaban Magnified Plaid, cuando tenían alrededor de 15 años, tocaban música similar a las de The Descendents. A los integrantes del grupo no querían realmente llamarse Magnified Plaid, por tal motivo el nombre fue cambiado a M.P. abreviando el anterior nombre. En la letra de Yuri (Baterista), los puntos se convierten en "Xs" y desde que el hizo los afiches de los shows de la banda, el nombre de 4 letras impactó. Andy Husted se fue de la banda dos años después para continuar con sus estudios. Fue reemplazado por Tom, el actual guitarrista. Entre los mejores éxitos de MxPx están Responsibility, Punk Rawk Show, Everything Sucks (When You're gone), First Day Of The Rest Of Our Lives, Wrecking Hotel Rooms y Secret Weapon.
